Terms and Conditions

All stall bookings must be approved by one Awaleba Director, the supply of the Registration and Booking Form does not constitute the booking of a space.

The Registration and Booking Form must be completed with all relevant details by the Stall holder and sent to the email address info@awaleba.events with the full payment.

No spaces can be reserved unless the Form is completed, and payment have been received.

The submission of the form constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

AWALEBA has the right to refuse a space without giving reason; in this case any monies paid will be refunded.

Stallholders set-up their stalls between 8am-10am.

Duration of the Indoor African Market is 10AM until 5PM

Stallholders should not close down or pack up whilst the market is open.

Stallholders must comply with Health and Safety legislation.

Stallholders must have Public Liability Indemnity Insurance (copies need to be sent to email: info@awaleba.events).

Stallholders who sell edible goods must have the required Food Hygiene Certificate (copies need to be sent to email: info@awaleba.events).

Stallholders MUST NOT sell alcohol. The selling of alcohol by traders is not permitted. Any traders found to be selling alcohol will be removed from the market site and will not receive a refund of their rental and fees.

Labelling should be honest and informative.

Stallholders are strongly advised to bring information leaflets or display boards about their products/ methods of production etc.. for publicity and educational purposes.

Products should be well displayed and presented. Prices should be displayed clearly.

AWALEBA expects professional conduct on the day with AWALEBA staff, volunteers, other stallholders, customers and the community.

Stall areas should be kept clean and tidy. Please bring bin bags and take them with you at the end of the event.

Stallholders observe AWALEBA values of

kindness, love, respect and justice.

Cancellations of confirmed bookings from stallholders will only be accepted up to 2 weeks prior to the event day.

A refund will be only be paid if sufficient notice is provided and AWALEBA is able to find a replacement stallholder.
